Five different Superiors on my Monk... They do cost alot and I found out that the Vigor runes are not stackable the hard way lol wasted 5 of them. They were NOT stackable in Prophecies.

these are runes of vitae and attunment, it doesn't say not stackable on them, and i'm sure i heard someone saying stackable in the game. The other thing is that you can't buy these runes, they can only be found not bought, so i think they're supposed to be quite valuable. Just reading about them aparently you can have 5 of them on one piece of armour
Ohhh I must say... I'm a little out of time with all these stackable runes of attuement and whatnot. He he. Ah well I guess reading the new manual will probably tell me these things.

Right... Runes which increase Attributes and Vigour etc are still not stackable.
THe Vitae and Attunements are... Attune adds +2 energy per rune.
2 runes = 4 energy.
With regards to armour, you may still destroy your armour if you salvage the runes...
So if there are cheap runes, just add them to your armour.
(Overwrite the old runes)
You can still only have 1 rune per armour... but with nightfall armour, you can add the "extra's" to them individually.
Remember in prophecies, to get extra energy as a warrior you needed the fugly Glads armour? Now it doesn't matter which armour you have, the upgrades can be swapped and changed as and when you want.
So armour traders just sell you one set now.
@Ferral - I would go with a higher damage dealing build than you currently have.
For Factions and Nightfall - Higher damage dealing is more important than damage reduction to team.
Just take it slow, ensure you don't aggro 2 mobs and you should be able to get through OK.
Always take the blood hench (Blood Ritual) or a blood Necro with you or your monks will run out of energy too quickly.
With hench, even with rit's... It's possible to just hack away at the warriors until you no-longer have to worry about them attacking your back-line.
Once they are down, then get the rit's etc.
The biggest worry is a Wa/Assasin cutting down your monks.
(Get assasins first, leave Wa's IF your monks can out-heal the damage or you have wards etc... If not, then get rid of the warriors before the rest of the group)
Oh, and Nightfall does indeed rock.
But I found it the easiest of the 3... Did it all with hero's/henchies in just over 9 days. (Not masters on each mission, but completed game)
Can I join please? Sir Dunken The Tall is the name on the role play server.
Cheers Rhyth.

Rhyth mate, tried to add you yesterday but the name you gave is showing as unknown. I also tried changing the Dunken to Duncan and it came back as already in a guild.
If you can check spellings etc and if you are already in a guild you have to leave it to join another.
Oops, indeed it is Sir Duncan The Tall and yes i will leave the guild im in assuming the hexus one is active?

Thing with the HEXUS guild as of late is that we are all dotted about over the 3 campaigns at the min. I am still yet to get Nightfall and playing through Factions, some of us are still on Prophecies and a few are on Nightfall.
As for activity it has died off a bit lately. Factions for me has put me off a bit with the difficulty and at the start of the game it is very samey going round the streets to do the quests. I finally reached Tannhakai Temple a few weeks back but havn't been able to do the mission as there seems to be no one about most the time and I get to the gold boss with the hench and end up getting slaughtered every time.
Well - I have completed all 3 of them...
If you need a hand then check to see if I'm online:
Captain Fizz / Animate Corpses / Beren Bonesmith / Melain Doriath / Whisper Smoothly
I can pop along with my hero's and Tanhaki Temple is not too bad.
Got the middle reward for it with my monk, so should be able to get masters with my Necro (With Wa/MM/Blood hero's) no problem.
Usually find I do better with hench (even moreso with Hero's/Hench) except for a couple of the missions. Heck, the Hero MM is better than me at MM'ing!
EDIT - Once you get out of the city - The gameplay is much better IMHO.
Remember not to spend your faction until you are in the later areas!
(Vasburg Armoury for Kursick/Gyla Hatchery for Luxon)
Need 10k faction for that side before it will let you into that area...

I have collected loads of imperial recommendations so far but have yet to get into the Kurzick and Luxon areas, pretty sure I will get there shortly after the temple.
I really hope that I am nearly out of the city streets, it has become a bit on the boring side to say the least, it all looks the same and I have found it gets a bit tedious trying to map youre way through at times. Not forgetting there isn't much difference between enemy characters also around those areas.
The Imperial Recommendations - Just swap them for scrolls/other stuff at the Supply-masters in Kenieg.
The faction I'm talking about is once you are out of the city.
(Just don't trade it for amber etc - Keep it until you are in either (or both) of those areas I mentioned in the last post.
After the Temple, it's a wee walk out of the city to the first green field of Cantha.
Then a few primary quests and on to either House Zu Heltzer (Kursick) or Cavalon (Luxon)
You can do both sides with the same char...
Just don't trade in your faction until you are into the 2 high end city's. (GH & VA)
Ferral, I also found the city/slums section of Factions tedious and, while it was a relief to get out into the countryside, I became so disenchanted with Factions that I pretty much gave up on it when Nightfall was released. So, I've got two characters, a Mesmer and a Ritualist, currently stuck at Unwaking Waters with little hope of progressing further as there doesn't seem to be anyone around for that mission anymore. I'm thinking of taking them both across to Elona to pick up and train heroes which, as Captain Fizz has pointed out, can be very, very good. Then maybe I can take them back to Cantha and try to finish Factions.
Nightfall is much more fun than Factions, imho.

LOL - I waited for groups several times...
Best way - Go when it is the quietest.
Both groups AI = Easier IMHO.
After the first group, then run as fast as possible sticking to the left hand side of the path.
Then double back up a slope.
Sit at the top of that slope as the 2nd wave run past you...
Then try to get the dragons HP down as quickly as possible.
May need a second go (another wave) then try to reduce her HP to 1/4.
(Degens are good)
Once it goes to 1/4 it warps you to the end.
Skipping any other waves that you would usually fight through.
Just concentrate on reducing her HP as much as possible.
I ended up henching it with Necro after grouping with my warrior.
Was easier with just me.
Ok invite me again please dude. Sir Duncan The Tall

Captain Fizz - thanks for that good advice! I'll have another shot at Unwaking Waters with henchies.
