    Re: Photo-a-day

the bridge isn't actually going straight across the river, it goes across at a diagonal so the picture is straight though straightening it to match the angle of the bridge might make it more pleasing, I don't know really.

I've had to send my camera in to get some hot pixels remapped, you don't realise how much you use it until its gone, there was the most spectacular sunset tonight that I would have loved to capture

Exactly - in the picture it looks like it's going straight when I think the left hand edge should be slightly lower. Might just me be, just looks like all the verticals from the builds are leaning right - I'd expect a little of that from pointing below the horizon with a wide angle, but it seems to be worse in the centre of the pic.

Not had any myself yet fortunately, but I can remap in the camera options anyway.

Great portrait rox0r, love the lighting.

    Re: Photo-a-day

Spent the last few weeks without my car, so I've had the chance to dig through some of my older aviation photos. Really liked this one of the Yak display team at Duxford last September.

    Re: Photo-a-day

Hate to say it Orion but the photochopping is brutally obvious in those, the square around the moon in the lower shot is way too apparent and the brushmarks are plain as day in the top one. I think you have your screen brightness or gamma set too low.

    Re: Photo-a-day

We went for a cold and misty walk along the coastal path today, got what I thought would be some nice bridge shots but they've not turned out as well as I expected.

    So here's a boat!

    Re: Photo-a-day

I suspect that's why you don't see the sharpening issues we've seen with your previous posts Orion. I'd suggest a go with a calibrator if you can get your hands on one.
