Cheers guys - I'd been talking to another photographer (a local pro) and missed my normal time for le stuff - as soon as the meter shows about 0.5 seconds or thereabouts I start setting up for a longy, normally between 2 and 4 minutes. On this occasion I'd missed that time so I decided to experiment with a Lee 2 stop ND filter combined with the B&W 10 stopper. I also had a Lee 0.9 soft grad on. It was guesswork really how long to go as the B&W tends to underexpose a bit. Happy with the way it turned out. A funny dawn - started off incredibly orange and yellow an hour before dawn but never really went red when IO expected it to.
Thanks for the comment re the negative space Dave - I know some would criticise it but I like that sort f thing.
Now looked at this on my home monitor rather than the dodgy flickery thing I have at work, you have been upgraded from Dairy Milk to Thorntons Extra Special Continental Deluxe Secret Assortment Reserved for Royalty.
Josh, that photo just reminds me of my niece at that age, all shy and pouty till she gets a giggle out, its just classic mate.
