Basically a 100% crop from 300mm on my D700, the 70-300mmVR is supposedly weak at 300m. Last time I'd be at my parent's place in Broughton, so was hoping to catch the Beluga out of Hawarden but it was not to be. I'm really into aircraft and I'm really into photography but the two never seem to mix unfortunately.
I perhaps should have stopped down a little, and please excuse the dust spot (which I missed until after uploading ).
