    help buying pc

Not sure where to post this so i am guessing it goes here!

I want to buy a new desktop for ruoghly a grand, i want to be able to play latest games, do some work on it. download and store music, films etc and also browse internet wirelessley with no worries.

I have looked on Mesh and Dell and some others but to me its a mine field, i dont know what i am looking for and i keep just ending up with really expensive things and thinkging "if its expensive it must be good" but then i think i am probably paying for things i will never use....

    any help???? please.....

Perhaps also check out Evesham Technology at http://www.evesham.com , they do some nice systems but it does come down to your own preferences , I personally am looking at a 6000+ amd cpu with the new ati card based system but they are doing some amazing deals on the new intel Quad core chip perhaps there pairing it with a 8800 GTS .

If you do not really need the onsite warranty options then http://www.pcspecialist.co.uk/ are worth looking at as well

you could upgrade the card to an 8800gts and have a very nice system with 3 year warranty.
