Shadowmaster while i admit i have deep views in protecting ones country and no geneva convention or red cross is going to tell me what i can or can't do to defend it from attacks, i don't agree with your view that israel should be blamed for cutting itself off from gaza with the walls etc.
The personnel attacks i did not intend, though my first post in this page was against you as you seemed to be preachy. The only reason i joined this post was because i was searching for a question time forum whilst i was watching it on t.v.
Morally i agree some weapons are inhumane, but rules change every day. In vietnam napalm was used, and now its seen as inhumane. Rules will always change but the fact that people are killed by bullets is seen as acceptable.
I will keep the personnel comments aside but you must known that whatever source you read from they will have a bias due to their own morals or views, or from what they have read from others even from both views.
I will never accept that killing innocent people is ok, but as you yourself have said, these people are willing to join hamas. So they are not so innocent at all, only in waiting for a reason to join them.
Peace never solves anything. I can not remember the name, but a leader once said, War is made in hope of peace.
Lets just say, Israel has blown things out of proportion, but Palestine itself has said very little. It too hopes the hamas will be defeated, but thats the problem with terrorist groups, violence rarely defeats them. Israel needs to pull back all troops and stop attacking gaza. In return palestine needs to set up a deal where those in the gaza strip who wish not to be a part of the hamas and wish to leave are able too. This gives people the chance to leave and also means israel is less like to injure innocent should they strike again due to missile attacks.
I know it isn't fool proof but its a start
