A jetski is clearly a rapid response vehicle, and in rescue situations, time is what counts. Granted, a helicopter could be used, but it first has to be launched, flown to the area, and then either divers (Who have to get kitted up first) dropped, or a rescuer winched down, all of which takes a lot more time than an officer hopping on a jetski and going off.

    I haven't voted in this poll, because the two options are so completely biased towards the same answer. I would have voted yes.
    Miami and Miami beach found out a light small boat cost about the same . now the cop have a place to put your drunk body in. the cop can carry first aid, guns and radios wont corrode to pieces. and marine engines are still more reliable and burn less fuel. conclusion = they got rid of them.
