Major flaw in your argument there is that some of these Islamist extremist's you talk about are as British as you or I. Thats like saying a parent is an extreme homophobic and one of the kids turns out gay, would you say its right to kick the kid out?

In reality we do not have the thought police (yet) and if people want to think in this fashion then they can, it is only once they consipre to do something illegal or in fact commit a crime that you can punish them. That is fundamental in a free society, we are free to commit crime (no matter what it is) but once we step over that mark then there will be consequences.

Once you start kicking people out or imprisoning people on the basis of belief or race then we are voluntarily giving up our own freedom (such as it is..) to become a facist police state.

Personaly i do not think there really is an immigrant problem at all and it is simplya convinent smoke screen for the govt to wave in front of people while they further thier own agenda.

I think it's OK for migrants to enter this country so long as they do something productive, ie get a job, better mankind or whatever. If they just bum about then they shouldn't be allowed through the gates.

I thought the whole -purpose of migrant worker is to get a job here. hence they are called migrant workers. People seem to think migrant worker and asylums seeker are the same. Well they are not. Most of the migrant worker ( in question )if not all of them are from east Europe (not middle east). People out side EU need a work permit to work here .

I think migrant workers are a good thing for the uk economy as they mean the jobs that people don't won't to do are getting done quicker and better then evr before.

well theres a limit on everything else, so i rekon its more than reasonable to only allow a certain number of people into any country, remember whena boat or steamer of chinese refugees needed to enter Austrailia coz they were starving and dying from their journey, and the PM just said 'NO', this was a bit harsh (although they did find somewhere) but he had a limit.

At the last election, numbers of British living abroad still eligable to vote was around 15 million or about 25% of the population living in Britian.

I for one would be out of a job if it wasn't for migrant workers. Of the two main factories that supply us, one is in an area with negative unemployment and the other an area of high unemployment. With both they have to use migrant label because the local population doesn't want to work.

The wages are above the average for factory work and the conditions good, so that's not why they wont work.

Point in case I met a Lithuanian on the way into work, he'd been in the country less than 24 hours and was starting his new job.
