Hello All,
You probably get these same noobish questions all the time, but I picked up my Scan 3XS this afternoon, and I am just setting things up now.
Under Control Panel->System
I have:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-2500K CPU @ 3.30GHz 3.30GHz
When I go into the Detailed Information it reads:
Dedicated graphics Memory 1024MB
Now, does the first line mean that I am running the CPU profile that is not overclocked?
I would have expected the second line to read:
Dedicated graphics memory 2048MB, as I have 2 cards running in SLI. Is this the case?
Also, I can see 2 graphics cards on the back of my PC, each with 2 ports for my monitor, and a 5th vertical port, that looks like an on board graphics slot. Which one of these should I be plugging my monitor into. I have currently selected the left hand one (as I look at them) on the highest graphics card. Is this correct?
Sorry about these noobish questions, before today, I had never had more than one graphics card, and I have never had an over clocked system. Also, every other PC I have bought has come with a 1 sided sheet of A4, "Plug this in first, press this switch second"-Hand-holding type of guide which this doesn't.
