    Monitor wont wake up/teething problems.

Hi guys..I received my system yesterday and i'm over the moon with it apart from a couple of little problems, 1st ..when I come back to the pc after manually putting it in sleep mode I click the mouse button and the pc fires up but the monitor stays in sleep mode and nothing I do wakes it up not even the 'reset' button works so I have to hold my finger on the power button to turn it off. 2nd there seems to be a lot of fan noise and im wondering if the bios is set so that the cpu fan runs quiet or is this not possible with it being overclocked. 3rd Will i void the warranty if I install the tv tuner out of my old pc into my new scan pc and finally when it is turned off but still switched on at the wall there is a very high pitched screech.squeel sound coming from inside although it is very quiet, I noticed it when I came down to it this morning...it carried on after I had started the pc then disappeared after a minuit or so. Sorry for the long winded post, I thought it best to sort out all the teething problems at once

    Hi spoons33

The system is Overclocked and you cannot use any power saving feature with an Overclocked system and this is why these are all set as per the thread below

If you want to use power saving features we have saved a Non Overclocked profile in the bios

    http://forums.hexus.net/scan-3xs-sys...ocked-pcs.html

The fans will run faster as the overclocked components need more cooling please do not change these , please check that all the internal packaging has been removed and none is catching on the fans

You can add the TV tuner and unless you physically damage the system by fitting this you will not void the warranty, however if you have any issues with the system you must remove this in order to make sure that it is not the cause of any issues

Please check the power cables to the VGA card as these can cause the sound you have mentioned

    Regards

    Ben

Just checked and both power connectors are fine, I put my ear to the psu and its coming from there.
