Help on ordering a 3XS System

I want to order an 3XS SLI Sandy Bridge computer but want some different choices that aren't on the options list.

Case: Corsair 600T White Graphite Series Mid Tower Case (out on 6th June)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z68X-UD5-B3 Intel Z68 Express Socket 1155 Motherboard
    CPU: i& 2600K (OC to 4.7)
    Cooler: H70
    Ram: 8GB Corsair Vengeance DDR3 DDR3 1600Mhz
SLI: 2 EVGA GTX 570 HD Super
PSU: 1000W Corsair HX Series Modular
System Drive: 2TB Western Digital Caviar Black, SATA 6Gb/s 64MB Cache
Storage Drive: 2TB Western Digital Caviar Green
    Optical Drive: LG BH10LS30
Cooling Fans: 5 120mm Akasa Apache Black Ultra Silent Fan

Not sure if it is worth getting a Fan Controller.

This is the specification that I would like, but some of the options are not on the menus so I am wondering how could I order this PC, that is if it's possible?

    Thank You

LOL How stupid of me, I just realised that the 600T has a built in Fan Controller on the top of the case

I am planning to get a downgraded version of yours later this week.

    I5 2500k
    2x gtx 560ti sc
    Hx850 corsair psu

That will do me fine in fps with a few to spare.

Very nice, I think you should go out for the i7 though, it will work out cheaper in the long run, and might as well make it that little bit more awesome aha

I am now thinking of getting 2x AMD 6950's in CF, they are way better than 2 560 ti's for only £15 more! but they don't have physX and arma 3 out next year will support/need that, also are AMD drivers any good?

Re: Help on ordering a 3XS System

No ATI drivers are really bad, I have ATI on my old computer and card, driver support, Nvida is the better of the two. Think of it like this, ATI is the budget card for people who want a decent system with a low cost but at the loss of quality, were as Nvida is like the high end card for people who want the best and do not mind the cost.
You can get ATI custom drivers, but I wouldn't recommend that, no reason why you can not Crossfire ATI, if they had good driver supports the cards would have taken over Nvida a long time ago. As for the PhysX I haven't have an issue with that, that is software, not hardware (I think), some of my games that require it work fine, installs the Nvida PhysX and I am using an ATI myself, but don't just rely on what I have said, you are much better googling it and looking at forms.

Thank's for your help shimi, I know nvidia is the way to go but the 2x 6950's are so much better
I surpose the EVGA 560ti's are superclocked but then 6950's could maybe be bios flashed to 6970's!

    Hmmm...

Re: Help on ordering a 3XS System

They can be treated as 6970 yes, that is what makes those cards more popular, you will effectivly have 2 6970s if you OC them, tbf all games have worked fine on ATI cards, if you ever have a problem with a game, google search it with ATI Cards on the end and you will soon find a fix. Good luck in your choice, I would favour the 6950 clocked to 6970 when compared to the 560s

Re: Help on ordering a 3XS System

I'm an Nvidia man myself as I really don't like the ATI Catalyst software and had no end of problems with ATI drivers in the past. Crossfired 4870x2 's still give me nightmares!

However the 6950's flashed to 6970's are a bit faster than the 560's so even I would end up going for them. Basically the 2GB of VRAM is quite important in modded games like Oblivion / Fallout 3 and I think it will be more important in future releases too. Looking at some reviews of the 560 Ti against the 6970 they tend to trade places a bit so it might be worth looking at which games you plan on playing then choose accordingly.

Just make sure you've researched how you will flash them first. Pretty sure I've read that some (Sapphire) can be difficult to get it to work whilst others are much easier.
