That is because you placed the order at 15:30:14.
The cut off point was set at 2 pm today due to the onslaught of orders for new rigs, upgrades and new stuff needed to play with windows 7 we had this morning.

The Scansure charge as previously discussed is a non refundable policy once an order has been completed and shipped. The only time Scansure charge can be removed from an order is if it has not been completed and not shipped. Your order has been completed and shipped and therefore the Scansure charge cannot now be removed.
but i took it off my order and did not want it, i personally feel that this sort of insurance product should not be added to an order automatically, it should be an option for a customer to 'opt in' rather than opt out. had i realised it was still on my order after it was completed i would have flagged it, however having clicked to remove it i assumed it had been and left it as that

The Scansure charge is an opt out policy and once opted out and you proceed through the steps the Scansure charge cannot re-add itself. The charge is also displayed before the order is accepted by the Customer.

well i don't agree with it being an opt out policy as mistakes like this are bound to happen otherwise and i would like it removed as as mentioned I did 'opt out' as I have done on every other order I have placed so how this has happened has really confused me as i opted out

I understand the viewpoints of Scansure, however as this has been discussed and considered to exhaustion already, I cannot comment any further on the fact Scansure is an opt out service.
The Scansure charge cannot now be refunded as your order has been completed.

I dont understand why it cannot be refunded. Surely this is only an issue if i cancel and then decide to try and claim. I dont want it and i took it off my order so i'm annoyed that now i a) cannot get it refunded and b) am paying for a service i did not agree too, saw no terms and conditions for during the process taking out.

There are many threads about this, where this has been answered before but the reason is that once the order has been completed your Policy has been activated and paid for and the fore once this has taken place we cannot refund you for a Policy, which has already been activated.

Day 1 of the 28 day Policy starts from the day the order is received..
Duration of Insurance & Right to Cancel
This policy is for a period of 28 days only and is therefore not subject to statutory
right of cancellation. This policy is non-cancellable and non-refundable. Scansure
will collect the premiums at the time of purchase including any IPT.

Why would an insurance policy covering parts you have ordered start earlier than the point of which you receive them.Day 1 of the 28 day Policy starts from the day the order is received..
There is a difference from when the policy period starts and the point of, which the Policy is purchased, once purchased it's not refundable.
Well if its not activated why can it not be refunded. If the policy becomes active upon delivery of the goods then surely it can be cancelled prior to receipt of said goods, which is why i cant understand why you are sayin that the policy starts when the order is placed
