    Gigabyte notes for repaired MB

Hi, I've received a motherboard back from yourselves today (RMA 224347), which is good!

I'm aware that Gigabyte put notes against repairs that they do in their system; could I know what they put please?

The reason I ask is the failure was a blown mosfet, which had burnt the board. The board I've received back is my original board; that isn't bad thing, as they may have just replaced the mosfet. Currently though I can't tell if they've done this or just sent the board back unrepaired. Currently I can still see the burn next to the chip, but the chip is actually under a heat sink, so can't see it's current state.

No notes have been added to your RMA system to tell me what happened and I just want to check it was actually repaired before I rebuild the computer.

    Thank you very much!

Re: Gigabyte notes for repaired MB

    Thanks for the email.

It seems they give you less information that I believed i.e. the reason that there is no information on the RMA report.

Well the PDF you sent has a tick next to my board so I presume I'm all good.

    Again thanks for the info!

    Ben
