    Unhappy returns turn around

    Last week i ordered a benQ monitor from scan who I've had no issue with. it arrived promptly, as per usual. but when I try to get it setup I find it's dead as a doornail! so i've sent it back once you gave me an RMA but according to your website you haven't even received it. which dpd say you have.

    This monitor was needed for a work computer and as such i'm now a week behind. I need this monitor asap. I'd hope the testing shouldn't take long as it wont even turn on!! I have tried calling you but seem to get no help there. I hope you can help need to get moving

    Yeah, mine wasnt updated either to say it was received. But a day later after they received it, it was all updated and tested.

    Only took 2 days for them to receive and test the item so they are quick.

    yea, my main issue is the customer relations(or lack there of). I've had to chase them every step of the way. and to add insult to injury, when I bought the item originally i paid for before 12 pm as I wanted it asap so I could get on with my work. now I see they have sent it plain next day and I wont get it till 6pm, which is another day of work they've wasted on my behalf. so i've asked for at the minimum a refund of the difference of next day and before 12. yea i'm aware it's only a small sum but i did ask for it. just really hope this monitor has no issues. So i have a few hours of tests to run on it. grrrrr arrrg!!

    Ordered: 18/05/2011
    Delieverd: 19/05/2011
    RMA Requested: 21/05/2011 (weekend)
    RMA Issued: 23/05/2011 (Monday)
    Returned: 25/05/2011 (I couldn't do the 24th)
    Arrived: 26/05/2011
    Tested: 31/05/2011 (day after Bank Holiday Monday)

    After it staying in 'Awaiting replacement / credit' for 24 hours, I had to call to find out that it takes 3-5 working days to process a replacement (plus a day for it to actually be delivered), so I've pencilled in 08/06/2011 for my new delivery date.

    All in all I think that's pretty normal (once you factor out weekends and the bank holiday), but I do think just a few estimates on the returns tracking would go a long way to easing peoples minds.
