Hi,

recently sent my gfx card back as it was artifacing in certain games. The card was tested by Lee and no fault was found.

One of the stress tests he used was Heaven, I also tested the card using this without fault. Didn't try the other tests he mentiond but I did use the gpu error checking in OCCT which resulted in 166 errors in under a minute.

Team Fortress 2 is where I get most artifacts. The gpu fan spools up to 100% followed by broken graphics then having to reboot as the desktop gfx are mangled also.

My trusty gtx260 xfx black edition is back in atm and works without any problem at all.

My case atm is a half932 (which explains the slight dust buildup) as there is a 200mm fan blowing in directly at the card. Before that the card was housed in a lancool k-62 and displayed the same errors.

Could you check the card using OCCT?

So what's the point of this forum then?

The long and short of it. Phoned. Not willing to retest with OCCT seemingly, and £20 notes for the privilege of getting my faulty goods returned.

Lesson learned !!
