Can I have an update please on RMA 255843?

The Gigabyte motherboard was brought back and tested faulty. The problem may be board specific but its is likely to be a design problem with the specific hardware revision-

GByte GA-A55M-S2HP MoBo revision v1.0.

I rang up on Monday and asked for the fixed hardware revision - V1.1 unless you were certain that it was a board fault. The reply was that you would have to check. So far I have not heard anything more:-

If you don't have any of the fixed gigabyte boards with the proper A55 chipset them I am quite happy with an alternative A55 chipset FM1 board from any other manufacturer as long as it has a HDMI socket and a PCI slot, as per the S2HP. Alternatively I would be happy with any of the Gigabyte A75 chipset board with a HDMI socket and a PCI Slot e.g.

GByte GA-A75M-D2H Motherboard Socket FM1
