    Not allowed to return card.

    Hi there,

    I recently bought a brand new high end system.

    It's been great however I have noticed a very audible capacitator squeal coming from the card (Asus GTX 580)

    When I asked SCAN about this problem they refused to help me or RMA the card. I'm wondering why this is as there are many other people I have spoken to who had there cards replaced by there company of choice, or by the brick and mortar stores they used.

    There is a massive problem with squeal coming from stuff, if you are younger you can hear the high pitch sounds much better, where as the older people either cant hear them very well, or hear them at all. So its luck of the draw how old the person who gets the RMA is even if you do get the chance to RMA it

    We have not denied your right to return the card for testing, we however highlighted that the problem you are reporting is unlikely to be recognised as a fault.

    If you wish to go ahead with an RMA for the return/testing of the card please confirm and I will get one raised for you.
