    Dell 2407WFP Just ordered - queries!

    Hi guys,

    I have just ordered the Dell 2407 on credit and it was all finalised today. I am just waiting for my order number from Scan. I have just realised where all the monitors are listed the Dell 2407 has to be preordered, however, on the dell 2407 product page it says the item is in stock - which is correct?

    I also called up earlier to try and get a saturday delivery but they said I have to wait 24 hours from receiving the letter from v12Finance for Scan to get the confirmation etc.

    They also said on the phone that when I call back they would let me know what revision number I will be getting. I would really like the A04 as it supports 1:1 mapping etc and will be getting a PS3 so do need this. As well as an XBOX 360 eventually. I presume I will now have to await the monitor being restocked - how long will this be?

    Thanks for your help and if a Scan mod could get in touch that would be excellent... I will be able to pm them my finance application number if required.

    The item is currently shown as out of stock, with finance orders stock wouldn’t be allocated until V12 receive the forms. We are however due for a new delivery tomorrow

    Please PM me the finance app number so I can check were the order is up to

    Excellent yes there is... magic. Would it be possible to change the delivery date to saturday? I wouldn't mind paying extra for postage.

    Also can you confirm the revision, or whether I can get the latest A04? Sorry maybe asking to much...

    It isn't showing in my Scan Account - does it take a while to update?

    Thats excellent. I will look forward to your reply tomorrow.

    When I called Scan up today they said when I have my invoice number etc they can check what monitors they have in stock and maybe get me a revision 4 - they said it depends on the supplier what they get.

    What I might do is call up tomorrow again once you have checked if I can get saturday delivery and try to get them to ship the latest version as I really would like it for console etc (1:1 mapping).

    If it is possible for you to check revisions that would be excellent... sorry again for being a pain but its alot of money for a monitor and I don't want it to be faulty etc... fingers crossed.

    Hi David/Chris I was wondering if you managed to have a look at the above? Has the new stock of the Dell 2407 arrived today as I think one of you mentioned that they will and also would it be possible to get a saturday delivery.

    I will let you know. I have changed my delivery to Saturday.

    I will be very disappointed if I don't get an A04 or at least an A03. They have been out long enough that scan should be getting the latest revision.

    We cannot guarantee the revision prior to shipment, You have the option of rejecting the item within 7 days for a refund if required.


    Alternatively Dell may still be offering the upgrade service ( collect & return ), however you would need to confirm this with Dell.

    Hi Scan.

    I received my dell monitor today at 8.30am - excellent.

    I have unpacked it and it looks great... no dead pixels nothing and its the latest revision A04.

    I only have one concern. The screen on the right has a border where the screen finishes whereas on the left it doesn't. Also if you push the screen on the right it seems loose whereas on the left it is.

    Is this right? Should it be this way. I love the monitor but after paying £500 I don't want to be left with something that could be faulty or damaged...
