    First as you can see the order was cancelled due to free carriage being used and the product price means that free carriage couldnt be offered which is fair enough.

    But instead of cancelling the order couldnt someone of just phoned me instead? I mean I need the item quite quickly which is why I ordered from SCAN.

    I have looked elsewhere also and other places are a lot more expensive then SCAN for the same product.

    I went to the site to re - order with the intension of not selecting to use Free Carriage to find the item is out of stock. I was wondering if it is showing this because my order was at the stage where it was ready to be picked.

    Anyway, a little miffed at the way it happened but meh, these things happen I suppose.

    Anyway, I was wondering how long it would be before the item with this code - LN14985 will be back in stock as this is the one I ordered in the first place and the one that would be most suitable for my needs.

    Anyway hope someone can help.

    yes i do know the rules tbh...it would of been nice to have a phone call or other means of communication asking me if I would off liked to continue with the order without the free carriage which I would of replied Yes.

    I need this item and refuse to pay well over double the price that SCAN are selling the item at.

    Phone calls take time + admin though, somthing which Scan (quite rightly) probably dont want to spend additional time + money on, when you consider how good the offer is in the first place

    Im sure they get just as miffed having to cancel orders because people havnt read the rules
    Its not like Scan want to loose orders

    Im sure one of the guys will let you know the stock situation as soon as they are in next though

    It also seems quite a number of "other" and I will add some who repeatedly order under £ 20.00 Ex Vat and have already had orders cancelled, will again have their orders cancelled shortly.

    We are being lenient not resetting your post counts

    Tis a shame really, people should have read the T&Cs for this when they signed up for the deal and could spoil it overall for others if Scan get peeved off with these repeat offenders, what's the saying - never look a gift horse in the mouth
