Hi, Ordered some PC bits from Scan last week for delivery tomorrow (5th April). Phoned this morning just to make sure everything was ok as my order had yet to be picked, and when checking stock the processor now said it was out of stock. The guy on the phone said 61 where being 'held for invoice' and my one should be one of them. Phoned again this afternoon and about 3pm as my order was still not picked. The guy on the other end of the phone assured me my order would be picked this afternoon and dispatched for delivery tomorrow (5th). Tonight at 8:10 scan email me to say due to unexpected volumes in the warehouse my order has been delayed. The most annoying part is after getting told this afternoon my order would go out today for delivery tomorrow, I still took tomorrow off. My work is now covered meaning I've lost a days leave. Also no mention in the email from scan when I can expect my order.
Ordered from scan as their prices seemed to quite good. Don't feel so good now I've lost a days leave. Is this typical of their service? OR have i been unlucky?
