RMA turnaround ? Furious with gigabyte

    Hi folks,

My new Gigabyte mobo (GA-965QM-DS2) has just died so I'm about to start the most dreaded of processes - the RMA.

Does anyone know what Scan expect in terms of faulty returns ? I'm guessing it's the original box with all original content (the usual...). How long can I expect the process to take? I'm 99% the mobo is dead (psu / vga / cpu all test out ok in another system), It doesn't even post :

    Sad Rob

    Hi wesleyaldred ,

Your colleagues are on the case and it looks like being a smooth RMA ride
Scan have always been one of the best suppliers out there, certainly the most customer friendly.

    I'm less furious today

Have you ever had a 'bad experience' with a company and decided to never purchase one of their products again? I have a small but rigid 'S*** List' that gigabyte have been on for a while. I broke my rule because they appeared to have the best product for my needs but within a month I have a dead mobo. It's more annoying that usual cos' I spend hours constructing the perfect SFF PC around it - I have to remove nearly every other component to get access to the mobo. So I guess I'm just as annoyed at myself
