Is there really much of a difference between optical and laser?

Laser is supposed to give better definition to the surface texture and as such the lens and sensor parts can see changes better which gives more accurate movement information.

can you tell me is there a huge difference between the g5 and g5 2007.

andin shape between the g5 and the mx518, it looks like the wheel is more out than in compare to the g5?

The newer version LN18709 also has a removable weight system to allow you to make the mouse as light or as heavy as you like it, as well as having a few extra buttons.

looks good i must say , i ve been to pccrap (pcworld) and have seen the mx revloution and the vx and i think it may have a similar shape to em, seems comfortable which is important

I'd like to say that a laser over an optical can make a big differnce, depending on the surface you use the mouse on.
On my desk opticals have problems, causeing slight jumps in cursor movement the higher the scanning rate the more pronounced the problem, it all went away when I changed to a laser mouse even at twice the scanning rate

i,m using those gel pads which is huge improvemnt tbh over the normal mouse mats
