When will Scan get the Asus Rampage Formula?

Same here i see a few websites have changed their date to the 21 and some the 23rd - are they just guessing now? Asus supposedly shipped some, and then stopped, then mass shipping should have begun - i'm beginning to wonder about this board & chipset, even if they are hoping to clear the stocks of x38's first...

Asus have informed us the board “should” be released into distribution around the 21st March – Note this is not guaranteed and could be delayed.

As soon as we can get hold of stock we will do.

sometimes distributors get it wrong too...

i can check several of the largest UK distributers and i cannot find an ETA for the RAMPAGE.

Unfortunately i dont think that any of those disties do DFI either:/

OCUK have them in stock now. At £218...so I guess Scan should get them soon if they haven't already.

yea they prbably pre -ordered the majority of them but are scalping their customers by charging them so highly initially!

I preordered mine at £195 I think it were. £20 more than some other places although they had no firm ETA ballpark.

Well true, I know it's a little bit high but from what I've read I hear that X38 and Yorkfield aren't playing too nice at the moment (might just be a bios thing) but I'm hoping the X48 will sort that problem out. I have a feeling mobo manufacturers are going to close the gate on X38 bios updates so if it is a bios problem then there'll be better support with X48 for it...

Yep, i think they want to brush the X38 under the carpet as quick as possible. Lets hope the X48 isn't just a X38 that costs a lot more and has slightly better performance - i'd give up a little performance for some stability. They are showing as instock now (at 211.40) but my order is still waiting on a q9450 - hopefully they will be in tomorrow!
