When will Scan get stock of the Asus Rampage Formula?

I dont like to shop @ other etailers, but lately I'm finding that i have very little choice.

I planed to purchase an X38 mobo, but Scans' selection is not that great, its the same with regards to memory.

Any way back on topic, will Scan be getting the Asus Rampage Formula X48 mobo in? If so when can we expect it? price???

The x38 boards are now becoming End Of Life in anticipation for the x48 boards, we will be getting the new Asus Rampage motherboards in stock.

We already have the product set up on our system awaiting pricing confirmation and stock ETA, as soon as we have confirmed this information the board will be released onto the site, which I would expect to be within 1 week.

Will the Extreme version be listed a later date like the Maximus Extreme was or will they both be available at the same time.

I would like to know as i would rather buy the Extreme over the Formula even though its DDR3.

Overclockers are now listing the Rampage Forumula.

Please could you also tell me if the Rampage Extreme will be out at the same time or how long after the formula?

Intel has sent out a notice to inform partners that the X48 chipset delivery will be delayed to WW12, which is in March. No motherboard manufacturers will get chipsets before that and that includes the first tier like ASUS and Gigabyte. Although there is no reason provided by Intel in the notice but it is definitely not due to the 'one of the first-tier motherboard makers still holds a large volume of X38 chipset inventory' rumors.

I won't be hanging on that long, sick of the waiting now for what only appears to be a speed binned chipset. March until Asus etc get them so factor in manufacturing times and shipping aswell as the inevitable 'no stock' delays the UK suffer from it will most likely be April at the earliest.

Hope scan get the dfi x38 lt in stock sharpish

I read somewhere that Intel have asked for the release of the X48 to be put back again as AMD have no viable alternative (which is true).
