most likely psycho that credit will be offered if the item you are trying to replace or fix has been discontinued. but you never know scan might just make you pay the difference and you can get a better one

Now, basically I'm trying to give you money!

If I can have a credit instead of a replacement, I'll be able to buy a more expensive PSU from you (plus a Zalman Fan Mate and probably a mouse mat which I've been meaning to get).

    It's win-win for everyone!

I will be returning the PSU in the next few days, once I sort out postage.

Can someone from Scan give me a final say on this please (hopefully a credit) as I'd like to order the Corsair VX450 (which was on Today Only) and the other bits this week?

P.S. This is all providing the RMA shows the PSU as being faulty, which it should.

    Just for completeness...

Scan will only give me a replacement so it looks like I'll be selling the XClio on (at a loss) and buying the Corsair PSU from elsewhere.
