    OCZ SSD Arrival date?

Could you tell me when you expect to get stock of the rather spiffy OCD SSD drives?

I'd imagine once you get them in stock it'll pretty much be the only SSD you'll sell given the price/performance of all the others?!

    Cheers
    Steve

What sort of interface do these things have? Is it 'normal' or laptop SATA? How are people mounting them in cases?

    Re: OCZ SSD Arrival date?

Quick question, how are people mounting these in their case? Which 2.5 -> 3.5 adapters are you using?

Well the newer Core Series V2 (comes in 30GB, 60GB, 120GB & 250GB flavours) were released today, any idea when you are going to have these in stock Scan?

My Core Series v1 32GB has been on pre-order for ages

    Re: OCZ SSD Arrival date?

In case you still need to know, they don't need adapters, they have standard SATA on the back. I've just screwed mine to the motherboard tray. No moving parts, so it doesn't move. Completely silent too obviously.

Yeah I realise that - I'm not talking about the connections of the SSD, I'm on about how to install it in my case. Because it [the case] doesn't have a 2.5" slot, only 3.5"'s. So I may need to buy a 2.5" -> 3.5" holder or something.

    Cheers anyway.

I'd be interested to know this to. I can't believe that there's a replacement already

On the mounting from, I'd have thought there should be a 3.5>2.5" mounting bracket available? Failing that, blu-tac

Oh well, doesn't matter now. My 32GB SSD is now here.

Yeah, I'm gonna use this. Couldn't find anything similar on Scan, so I had to go elsewhere
