as above...
al WD 640GiB AAKs' are 2 * 320GiB platters
its the 320GiB drives you need to watch out for... as there are lots of revisions

yup, your right, i've had all of my contexts wrong for a while (been using GiB for HDDs and RAM and GB for files )
Gigabyte GB for storage media (e.g. HDD)
Gigabyte GB for memory (e.g. RAM)
Gibibyte GiB for storage (e.g. a file)

Does any one know what revision firmware/manufacture date SCAN's stock are?
This is the info for the one I bought from a scan a month or so ago
Sorry, it's not feasibly possible for us to guarantee and confirm this information I'm afraid.
This is due to the fact that we source the products from more than 1 given active supplier at any given time and as such there is always the chance of us having mixed stock/batches on the shelves.
