Does this or does this not have HDMI out?

I am looking at potential replacements for my AsusNE7600GS512TOPSILENT (that's a long silly name for a card isn't it? )....I am looking, now at nVidia 9600 and later cards. I need a relatively short card as I have IDE HDDs mounted with a fan in their tray right opposite the PCI-e slot.

I was looking at this:

The picture appears to show an HDMI port but the Technical Spec tab doesn't mention it.

Does it have HDMI out?

OK thanks.......not sure ANY 9600/9800 will fit though

I'll have to get the tape measure out when I get home tonight.....

What is the length of 9600/9800 cards? It would be really useful to add this info to cards on your shop as length is critical in some systems.

That palit will be the shortest of any 9800 about. The 9800s tend to be longer than 9600.
As far as I know no one publishes lengths for vga cards, dimensions are not even available on the manufacturer site.

Hopefully someone owning one of these Palit 9800 or from Scan can measure it for you and post here.

If the length of card is really paramount try 4670 series as they will be shorter than 9800 and not need power connectors which will take more space behind the card too.

However The e-mail I got back hardly clears up matters:

Thank you for your interest to Palit product lines. Since we have many different version of 9800GT for different market need. Here is the information of some most recent versions.

1). 9800GT, 512MB, GDDR3: 229mm (box in green color)



2). 9800GT Green Edition, 512MB, GDDR3: 188mm (box in yellow color)

Now neither of those pics are the card available on Scan - the picture is different.

The Scan pic shows a card which takes only one rear slot and has a gold coloured heatsink on the back edge.

The 188mm card would fit but the 229mm card would not......

So what size is the card that Scan offer for sale?
