    Re: Delivery

I've always found it to be that way. I have a feeling that it's a mistake sometimes made by the system based on your delivery date.

The only way to know that your parcel is on its way today is when you've got the tracking number for CityLink the day before, and it says the parcel has left the depot.

Apart from those lovely occasions when I never got a tracking number at least

    watforddude

From looking at the automated e-mails sent to you the estimated delivery date of your order is 09 Jun 2009. City Link have your delivery as Scheduled for 09/06/09.

If you can tell me where the site informed you the delivery would have been today, I will sort this out for you.

    Best Regards

    Re: Delivery

Sometimes it can say its shipped when its packed and had the CL labels applied ready for pickup.
CL may not actually pick it up until later and it won't show on CL tracking until its booked into their receiving depot.
Keep an eye on the CL tracker it will give you information when its received, and finally loaded onto van for delivery. When it adds this you can normally expect delivery that day.

Becuase the order was placed on Sunday the next available dispatch date would be today (8th), out for delivery tomorrow ( 9th ).

The delivery service level would be 9am - 6PM...

Thank you for the nice comments

The parcel would need to be signed for...

You could opt for a timed delivery and as a HEXUS customer pay the difference -This can be arranged over the Sales line - 0871 472 4747

    To confirm...

The timed deliveries would have to be requested at the point of sale.

Yeah, it's a bit of a pain but usually have little option but to wait in. Certainly where I am there's no knowing what time it'll be either - sometimes I've had 9am, other times 5pm, there's no way to know really.

Sometimes they do leave it at the front door, or with a neighbour, but it's extremely unpredictable. I would assume that technically they shouldn't be leaving it with a neighbour, but I don't complain since it's a lot more practical than having to drive an hour to the nearest depot. And if it goes missing, there's only one person to blame.
