amazon automatically want to charge you next day delivery charges, how is this any different?

its a really annoyance, and hopefully theyll do something about it but in the mean time, just double check those prices and final order price (which you should be doing regardless of company) to make sure everything is correct.

Re: Recent Scan Experience - Scansure

Personally I've never experienced any issues with scansure after the baskets been confirmed. If "I don't want to insure my basket" has been selected it doesn't change back even if I've gone back to shopping to add another item. That said I chose scansure for piece of mind the last two orders that were made.

Could it be a browser issue, sounds silly but just throwing it out there as a possibility?

Extras should always be 'opt in' no and's, if's or but's.

Ah but here you HAVE to select a post method which i believe makes it different. Yes they are trying to push next-day delivery but as you are going to have to select a postage option this is not really an issue.

Also it could be argued that amazon had an excellent cancellation procedure, which they do if you have ever ordered.

I think the op has a point.
