Delayed Delivery

Hi Scan,

I've just had an email to say that my 2xgtx460's and ocz vertex 2e 60GB will be delayed by a week as you do not have stock of Mafia 2. I'm a bit confused as the cards are meant to come with Hawx 2, but either way why are you delaying a £400 order for a week because of this?

Surely you should ship the order and send the games later? I appreciate there might be a small cost in having to send them seperatly, but you did mark all my items as in stock so surely you should cover that?

Please can you get my order out tonight as I've booked a days leave to be in tomorrow to receive the items and will be really annoyed if I've wasted a days leave over a game that I don't even care if I get. Seriously if the difference between me getting it tomorrow and in a weeks time is I don't get the game, then just don't send me the game.

Sorry for sounding a bit narky, but I've been looking forward to my new toys all day.

Spoke to a customer service rep first thing this morning, she was perfectly pleasant and explained the problem well, and organised for my order to be processed straight away, so well done on that front.

As to the problem, well I'm less than impressed with that. The delay to my order was caused by Scan not having enough codes for a download game. A code, not even the physical game (which it still looks like is not the game that is advertised with the product).

So basically my delivery was delayed for something that could have been emailed to me, and was marked as in stock.

This is the second time I have had a delivery delayed when items have been marked as in stock, last time it was an sd card that could have been sent out first class post when it arrived, but scan wanted to delay my delivery by 3 weeks!

Scan really needs to review their warehousing/order sytem and apply some intelligence here. I'm begining to question whether to use them, and I'm not sure that I can recommend them to pretty much all and sundry like I have been doing in the past.

Hmm Hi Carl. Not so good after all I'm afraid. The codes that you have supllied don't work.

The link for the HAWX2 game is invalid and I can't find it by browsing and the mafia2 code that the instructions says to input into steam comes up as invalid.

ok resolved the HAWX2 issue by going to the ubisoft website, but still no idea on the Mafia2 code not working in steam.

I shall send you a picture of the voucher, hopefully this will resolve things as it looks as though I did a typo in the original email, if not let me know and I shall have to see what the problem is with the codes.
