I have never used scan previously after hearing too many horror stories off friends and collegues, but recently heard many positive experiences with scan, so I decided to order something from them.
I now wish I hadnt I placed my order back on the 10th of august. I made sure that everything was instock first, and decided to opt for the finance option. My credit card was billed that day, and I sent back the paperwork and the finance was agreed by the 14th. Then I got the inevitable "order delayed" email telling me it would be the 22nd before my order would be completed. On the 22nd on email and nothing on the 23rd so I rang scan, and got through to somebody who couldnt answer my question "well if we get it through and post in on friday you will get in on monday".
Its now 26th and I have heard nothing from scan. This is the WORST service I have recieved from any e-tailer bar none. If its not bad enough that my money was taken and I had signed upto a credit agreement before I was told that any of my items were not in stock, scan have sent me nothing for over a week telling me when I can expect my order to be completed.
Seriously I can never see myself putting up with such bad service again hence when this order is completed I wont be using scan.
