Good Gaming Rig Spec, Or totally crap? =/

The motherboard is a bit over the top isn't it? 4 PCI-E slots? I'd go with the ASUS P5W DH Deluxe which is cheaper and has a handy mini remote with it. A bigger hard drives always nice considering the price these days and with all the digital junk the average person can accumulate in a week.

That Harddrive is big for me, i only just fill 40gb of my hd at the moment. =)

Hey ponders I've just looked at your rig and can see why you need to upgrade.

It must be the oldest running system amongst Hexus users!!! You should be proud!

I think you will definately notice a performance gain with the Core 2 CPU.

well i busted my other pc by cleanig it with the vacuum nozle...sucked the entrails out!!!
mate dug this out from under table ( i think it was the table) and zooom... on the net
suprisingly it actually DL's quiker than the old pentium 3, 20 megabytes in about 4 minutes!!


P.s on the new one i'm hoping to build, i was planning to have a 256mb radeon X1900GT, the specs are good (i think) but after using Hexus for only a little time, i really would feel more comfertable purchising it if i could get a few opinions off the fellow users !
