    Exclamation Any Buying Experience with DealForU.co.uk

    Hi, I came across this site:

    http://dealforu.co.uk/

    Its got some VERY competetive prices on a few parts im after, too good to be true(ish). Therefore, before parting ways with my money, I'd like to know if;

    Its legitimate?
    Has anyone dealt with them before?
    What was the experience like?
    Hunches, or opinions? Why so?

    Please help me out guys, thanks a bunch.

    You waited 19 minutes for a reply, and most of the forum members are located in GB, the time on your posts is near 1AM so most people will be in bed. Provided you're not discretely advertising the company, impatient is an understatement.

    Damn, never thought id become one those inconsiderate @$$holes that i usually laugh at in forums. My appologies to everyone (im not being sarcastic), tbh though, i was really not aware of the time that i posted this, and yeah i did get impatiant as i was literally just refreshing my screen 2/3 times a minute. My fault i know, i should let it be and check back later or tommorow. I guess I can thank you for the reality and time check, and actually get some sleep now.

    Re: Any Buying Experience with DealForU.co.uk

    Oh and im definatley not 'advertising' the company, rather on the contarary. I was actually hoping for some negative views in order to put my mind to rest. See im actually not keen to buy from there, the site is messy, unintuitive and cheap feeling and i really dont feel confident to go ahead. But the price is compelling and its gettin the better of my gut feeling of avoiding it, so i posted here in hopes of people warning me not to get compelled. But as it is now, theres no REAL REASON to dodge the offer and end up regretting it later. I know what kind of bargain hunting type of person i am, and i cant calm myself until iv made a decision to go for it or not.

    Address seems to be residential, if that's true then I doubt they actually hold stock of any of this stuff.

    I'd give them a bell tomorrow, they've got a geographical number on their site. I'd just be straight with them... on google streetview it's a little bungalow, do they actually hold any stock etc? What sort of a company are they? How long have they been operating. If they're legit then they should be happy to answer. If they aren't happy, then I'd suggest they're not worth your custom.

    Re: Any Buying Experience with DealForU.co.uk

    It's not a company I'd immediately shop at, it looks like a very generic template based website similar to some placeholder sites. Of course it could have some of the best customer services out there, but small companies aren't usually very cheap so it makes you wonder where they're saving money. I'd go with Jim's suggestion of giving them a call before shopping there - it's not easy for new businesses to gain a name for themselves after all.

    Re: Any Buying Experience with DealForU.co.uk

    The website title is .com, whereas the domain is .co.uk. Tiny details like that put me off.

    Their supposed parent company is legit though their accounts are late and the whois info tells a different story;

    Registrant:
    Adaptron Limted

    Registrant type:
    UK Individual

    Registrant's address:
    The registrant is a non-trading individual who has opted to have their
    address omitted from the WHOIS service.
    I'm out!
    |Kata: "Read title as 'fisting'. Not sure why I clicked. Relieved, really."|
    |TAKTAK: "It was so small that mine wouldn't fit into it"|
