I would love to know how many of these things HP has sold, every geek I know has heard about them and half of them seem to have bought one.

They must be shifting a fair amount, to keep extending this deal they must be making more profit than usual even with the cashback, not to mention the sales they must be nabbing from consumer NAS boxes and self-built Atom systems.
Possibly because no-one was interested in them when they came out but the Neo chip has been superceded by the E350 and E50 now so they need to get rid of stock?
Those who bought from Crescent, did you get a confirmation of dispatch email? Mines supposed to be out for delivery tomorrow, but I've not received any correspondence off them.

As I mentioned somewhere earlier in the thread, it looks like they're just a dropshipper so that's probably the reason.
I had my e-mail confirming my discount and the cheque will be out to me within the month, has the offer been extended even further? I may buy a few more and sell them on ebay or something for a nice little profit

I'd give them a call, it might have been lost in the post or something. On the form it says to call them if you don't hear anything after a week.
