Cyanogen's Android 2.2 Froyo on G1

Hello Anyone tried the 2.2 froyo on the g1 phone is it fast enough to be useable? 1.6 was kinda painful...

2.2 is a different breed to 1.6, you will find it runs nicer, and gives better battery life.

Tried it on my HTC Magic last night and while it's nice and fairly quick there are some serious issues for me like a wi-fi bug. I can connect to my home network but can't connect to the internet. Other people have wi-fi related reboot issues, slow downs etc. Seems like it's very buggy still but then it is still an RC build.
