Depends if you really need it, for some people it is genuinely usefull, and they can't wait a year. Other people are so wealthy that they can spend the money without really caring.

I work for Nokia. There was an internal newsletter recently that said how one Australian radio station was giving N93 phones to all their staff, so that they could take pictures and video and upload to the radio station's website. Obviously it will not bee as good as professional equipment, but as it is 10x cheaper, the radio station can afford to give them to everyone, not just the reporters.

Only if you spend enough on calls.

The golden rule with contracts, is that they only make sense if you spend at least £20 per month on calls. Any less and it will work out much cheaper in the long run to buy the phone SIM free, and to get a PAYG plan.

Definately the case with this phone, judging by the contracts i have seen. Pay for phone £50+ then £40+ line rental (18 month) with very few minutes and texts but it is for a niche market i suppose

If you live by this rule, you'll never buy anything

And my n93 is *awesome* and totally worth the money. And my k750i (replaced it with this as it broke) hardly felt rubbish compared to new models, even though it was nigh on a year and a half old.

My battery is rock solid, at least a few days with heavy game/camera/internet wifi use, and calls. Mine was imported from Germany to USA however, so maybe its just better german engineering, ja! haha, jk

Ok, having seen the contracts on offer, buying this phone may be justified, but never before have contracts been offered @ £75 and only £75 a month which is ridiculously expensive.
