i should drop 87k at around 11am tomorrow, from 50 of the opterons, bringing my total to 860k. here's where it gets interesting though - i can *easily* get the remaining 140k by 11am IF I HAVE EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO THE XEON CLUSTER. which i don't. the xeon cluster is off limits during testing and benchmarking. i'm running some units overnight, but they'll only be 85% complete when the job scheduler will automatically terminate them at 8am tomorrow.
will i manage to scrounge the remaining 2.5 hours tomorrow before lowe's required 10k hits? if i had access to the net all day, maybe - but i don't. i'm driving up to the lake district. infact, i'll be offline from about noon, and i doubt benchmarking will be finished by then.
how badly do i want to win? CAN i win? it'll be fun to see!
