Yup I can confirm the same - zero problems since so it's going on the rest of my PCs at the weekend.
Put it on my main rig and the only difference I've noticed is that IE and Firefox both seem a little snappier opening. No file copy problems, but then I didn't have any in the first place.
I'll probably be installing it on my laptop at the weekend.
So yes, Vista sucks and you should all install XP.
Put it on my Premium Laptop and on one Ultimate box - all good so far after a few days of use.
I did mine last night, took ages having to remove SP1 RC then install loads of patches then SP1 but seems fine now... didn't help my net was playing up and took WAY too long to download SP1
When is it scheduled for official release and availability on windows update? Plus can anyone tell me if I can save the setup executables for the updates I download via windows update? If I do a fresh install lets say, I would not want to download alllllllll the updates again, it would be handy if i could save the updates separately, anyway to do that?

i've not run the batch file at the start of this thread, but the laptop i'm typing on is asking me to install KB937287 which is apparently one of the pre-reqs for SP1.. i wonder if it will give me the pre-reqs then push out SP1 when its ready?
I've already got the pre-reqs. without the hack aswell.
How long do you reckon is left for it to get out to everyone?
Are there any differences between the hack and what I will get whenever it does it automatically?
Will the hack affect any future Windows updates?
Thanks,
Chimp
^ i keep hearing that, it is exact same thing. i've used the hack & a downloaded version. neither have affected windows updates as it seems.
