happy Opera user of many years so I'll be off to get this.
As already stated a lot of browser preference is what you are used to so you need to give another 1 a long enough try to get used to it's way of doing things before making a decision.

Opera 9.50 is very nice. Even found a 9.2x skin for 9.50.

    Re: Opera 9.50 out (Kestrel)

When I first heard about Opera ages ago, and how fast it was I upgraded but it felt so weird. After I allowed myself to adjust I can never use any other browser as my main preference, so much better than the others imo.

    Been waiting for 9.5, excelleeent

    Re: Opera 9.50 out (Kestrel)

Here's another one from the same source:

If you use IrfanView or another image viewer/editor (I use IV for 'quick 'n' dirty' work, as it's simple and does 90% of what I want), it's possible to get an image to open in IV from the right-click context menu on an image (an image-ling might not do this).

In standard_menu.ini, find [Image Popup Menu] and insert this line (suitably edited for path and app., of course):

Item, "Open image in Irfan View" = Copy image & Execute program, "D:\Program Files\IrfanView\i_view32.exe", "/clippaste"

    Re: Opera 9.50 out (Kestrel)

it's a brave move changing the layout, i like it - though it'll take just a little longer to get used to.

the torrent download facility is still slow, but the best feature is that when you download something it doesn't jump staight to the transfers page. phew!

You might find the keys have changed somewhat (but you can select the 'old' set if necessary - 'opera 9.2 compatible'). It's caught out a few so far.
