software firewalls - a pain in the ass to configure, but what one works best for you?

I read an article comparing Norton, McAfee and others, and surprisingly (to me) McAfee came up top

I'm using Sygate at the moment, and it seems to be ok so far

Kerio for me. Last time i read any firewall reviews they ommited to mention the free ones. Havent had any problems setting it up, just have to click when I install a new game to allow connection.

I run a gentoo server at the front of the network with an iptables firewall.

Zone Alarm Pro on ICS server, seeems to work ok for me.

Zone Alarm Pro here, doddle to set up from scratch and allow apps/games to connect as required.

Tried Kerio (I think it was that anyway) but it ate system resources and screwed up LAN connectivity on my work PC something chronic (possibly due to NetWare client being installed on it).
