    memory key fun?

ok.. dunno if this the right place for this, but im guessing it kinda is..

dad just gave me a 32mb memory stick (well usb key whatever they are called) cos he has a couple spare.. and i was wondering what kinda stuff i could use it for (other than copying files.. which is kinda dull),

is it possible to boot and/or install some flavour of linux in 30meg im guessing it would prolly be a commandline one, as GUI would take up too much space - unless it was compiled upon boot? hmm i think i'll go check out google, but any tips or advice would be useful.. im presuming my mobo can boot from usb (one in sig).. if not my plans are foiled before they really turned into anyhting

    cheers

Providing the BIOS can boot USB devices on start, you'll probably be able to do it. If you had a 64meg Mstick, then you could have given Damn Small Linux a go. A google brought back These results for small distros, but their floppy disk size most of them and i dont know how youd boot these from usb. Hope this helps you in some kind of way
