He said the same as me I didn't mention the .fla as I assumed that you wouldn't be getting it if they told you to sort it yourself.

As a matter of fact, if you used a server-side language on you site, then you should be able to do it quite easily.

It's not going to be any easier with a server side language if you can't get at the data source which is the key limitation in this unless you had something particular in mind ?

I only want the data thingy, I'm just a fussy bugger. I want...

    /stamps foot

....I notice other resellers have tried, but it doesnt always work on their sites either

    http://www.ancoris.com/s/cs/postini/postini_intro.shtml

it takes an AGE for it to work on that site...if at all. The box shows, but the figures don't turn up

There are some methods that allow you to display another sites content "on" your site, but "not", although I don't know how happy they'd be you using their bandwidth.

Could he not use the "include" command in PHP? I suppose not as that would show the whole Postini page, but there must be a way to do it...

You can't include anything if the owner of the data won't provide you with access to it. That's my point, it doesn't matter what language or other application you have, unless you have access to the data source you can't do jack

If that was a response to my suggestion, you've missed my point.

It wasn't a reply to your suggestion, but it might help everyone if you tell us what you were meaning then ?

It's no friction, I'm just interested in how it would be achieved via yamangman's suggestion. Always keen to further my own knowledge
