Nortons about the best for protection, but NOD32 is very nearly as good, and way lighter on the system. Go NOD32 if your a gamer, or value a snappy and responsive system.
F-Prot..........catches everything and very very light on system resources. I have tried everything and this comes out on top for me.
Quite a few to choose from!!
There always are. Best bet is to pick the one that most people reccomend I think
I seem quite happy with Avast, but maybe I'll try this Nod one.
Guess i should have done a Poll!!
You still can, at the top of this thread, press 'thread tools' and select the poll option.

Clamwin!
The lightest resource-wise of any scanner I've ever used (yeah OK, so this is because it's lacking features ... just scans for viruses).
Think I will give clamwin a try, ty.
I use Command AV by Authentium, never usess anymore than 400k of memory even when doing a full system scan, its updated daily, at points 2 - 3 updates a day. Never let me down.
Steam: (Grey_Mata) || Hexus Trust
I use NOD32, its the best anti-virus I'v ever used, not had a virus for quite a long time with it now!
SuperFriends.World of Warcraft.Dunemaul = Velous | CS:S = ChrisG | EVE Online = Alex Marche
Gaming Rig (See System)|Nintendo Wii|Nintendo 64|Sony PSP|Sony Playstation|Sony Playstation 2 Silmline|Xbox 360 Pro v.2 HDMI|Dell XPS M1530|
I'm thinking I should go back to AVG now. However when I changed from AVG to Avast it picked up a lot of stuff which AVG didn't. Having said that i still get viruses and a lot of the time I end up manually getting rid of them.
