    iTunes "export"

A friend is looking to move his entire music collection, currently in iTunes, to another PC. Not being familiar with iTunes, I've got no idea if theres an easy way of doing this? Is there an import/export feature? Or is it just a matter of copy and pasting the My Music folder across, and iTunes will detect?

    Ta for the help

Itunes keeps a database file, in the iTunes folder in the Music directory, which makes it easy to move your music collection and keep it intact in the EXACT same way it was before, in terms of dates of tracks added, playlists, and even the files that are in the iTunes library but are reported as missing.

Just make sure wherever he moves the music folder to, it's in the other Computers default "My Music" directory. Copy all the files exactly as they are, so the "iTunes" folder is directly accessible, and isn't located in another folder.
