I decided a few weeks ago the same thing that OP did. At 6 foot and 68kg I was not exactly a bloater, but I was a few kg lighter before starting my office job, so thought I probably should!
I now cycle to and from work (total of an hour's energetic cycling a day), have introduced vegetables to maybe 4 main meals out of 5 (it was about 0 before, so its a good move I feel ), and do maybe 10 mins of situps and pressups every evening. Need to extend that, but I get bored easily!
Haven't noticed a huge change yet I must admit, but maybe I should actually buy some scales. I move to a new job with an onsite free gym in November, and reckon I'll sign up. I'm also going climbing one evening a week, and power kiting at weekends (a lot more energetic than you may think!)
I already feel the 'I could actually get quite fit' bug!
