    Seagate ES.2 1TB?

Has anyone here been successful in using the new Seagate 1TB drives in a 5200? I have three of these waiting to go into a NAS and have been eyeballing the n5200pro and ReadyNAS NV+. I'd prefer the Thecus for the speed, but it has to support my other needs (seagate drives, slimserver)

    cheers!

    Re: Seagate ES.2 1TB?

I'm using 3 of them in my 5200PRO with no problems at all for about 2 months now. I have about 500GB free so I will be adding more soon. Hopefully I can add the additional drives without losing data <crossing fingers>. The price has come down on them recently and I even saw them on zipzoomfly for $303 US. Goodluck!
