Hi my name is Dan, Network Engineer based in Liverpool, UK. I have been looking for an avid tech community for quite a while now.. I hope this is my final choice
Hi everybody. Glad to be here. Looks to be a freindly and informative site. Thanks for having me.
Hi, just thought I should say a brief hello in here as I've made a few posts already
Been reading Hexus for a fair while anyway, but never really bothered to take a look in the community section until recently
IT Engineer in the East Midlands with 12 years ongoing experience. Autistic and as a result sometimes rather too blunt (so apologies in advance if anyone finds that out the hard way) but gives me a huge focus on computers and anything else electrical and mechanical. I love taking things apart, finding out how they work and rebuilding them
Started online in around 1992 for a few years hunting round BBS's for random information on upcoming technologies, in 1996 I found a little game called Quake - a love which extended to Quakeworld, Quake 2 and then 3. Couple of years later (1997ish) I found and became a part of a couple of communities, most notably Barrysworld (now Freddyshouse) and Quakenet - I moderate on the former in the Tech section, and staff on the latter also running my own technical support/advice channel.
So just basically joined here to find more like minded folks, share experiences, learn more and have a laugh
Hello everyone.
Found this site when looking for a better alternative to some other tech hardware sites who recently have slipped from their once high standards. Hexus seems to fit the bill nicely. Looking forward to chatting with the community on the forum!
Happy New Year!
