Abit AN-M2HD is also up on Pre-Orders now, with new geforce 7 graphics onboard & HDMI

Hey Guyz, The new Abit AN-M2HD has also been setup for Pre-Orders now @ YOYOtech. This board is also highly awaited similar to some other new Abit models. This is the first board on the market to have the new Geforce 7050 graphics onboard in combination with nforce630a which supports 4 SATAII hard drives with RAID 0/1/5. From onboard graphics you get 1 VGA and 1 HDMI with HDCP compliance. On top of these, it has got 2 firewire port support, 12 USB2.0 support and 7.1 HD audio with digital optical S/PDIF out as well.

Yep, I'm very tempted by this. Does anyone know how it'll perform with 2 gigs of ram and and a Athlon 64 4600+ Windsor Core energy efficient processor. The big question is will it be able to handle 1080p?

Ive just been reading this review of a Biostar board using the same chipset. It looks like this is pretty good at taking the strain off the cpu for HD. Have a read:

Review looks good, thanks - 1080p looks distinctly acceptable without serious strain on the processor - although I guess there'll be additional variation due to encoding and bitrates!! but as a bottom end figure the cpu usage at 15-20% looks like a good starting position
