    FATAL1TY FP-IN9 SLI overclocking problem

    hi all, firstly hello.

i recently bought a computer of my mate, with the FATAL1TY FP-IN9 SLI MOBO.

now ive been told and have read this is a good gaming board with easy OC'n capabilities

now im having troubles with OC'n, my mate had it (e4300) clocked to 3ghz, but i had to reset the bios and cant get hold of him to chat about how to get it back up to 3ghz/

i ever the soft menu, adjsut the QRD (is that righ) to 1333 x 9 to get 3000, but when i restart i get this error message

"Warning! Now system is in safe mode. Please re-setting cpu or memory frequency in the cmos setup." in bad english jsut like that.

what am i doin wrong, ive looked at a few threads on here about this board and clocking it, but i no matter what i do, even if i OC to 801 as opposed to 800 it comes up with the error message still.

    sorry for being retarded

    thanx very mcuh

    Saxk

try setting Ram freq to synch. Don't try 801-1332 QPB. Hit stright to 1333. Up the CPU Voltage to 1.4V. MCH 1.2V VTT 1.2V. EIST off, C1E off. That should do the trick. If you would read the topic of this board you would know that.

Re: FATAL1TY FP-IN9 SLI overclocking problem

    jsut another thing

when i change the setting to an overclocked number, when i go to save and extit, yes, etc. it doesnt re boot, it jsut hangs, then i have to go and press reset and wait for it to boot.

am i being impatient, should i jsut wait after exiting bios for a while, surely it should just reboot straight away.
